Battlestar Galactica is back! And oh, what a glorious return it was! There were a few missteps towards the end of Season 3, but all was forgiven with the awesome Season 3 ending, and the Season 4 opener gives me even more hope. Now we're on the final stretch, presumably marching relentlessly towards the final showdown, and I can't wait.

Also, Doctor Who is back! Except I don't really feel the exclamation mark is warranted this time. It was all rather mediocre and eye-rolling... hope this doesn't set the tone for the whole Series 4.

Yes, the Battlestar premier was juicy.

My money is on Laura as the last of the five. Six said, "I can feel them they are all very close." So, we know that all five are on Galactica.

And there were several very funny moments -- catching Gaius in the praying attitude, etc.

I dropped watching Who when Tenant took over. I really liked Eccleston's Who a lot, and Tenant seemed to pretty and rat-faced (at the same time) for my taste.

Christopher Eccleston was great, but I'm really enjoying David Tennant's Doctor too.

Yeah, I'm quite a Tennant fan myself, even if S2 was less than stellar (I had less problem with the S3 ending than most people)

I am an Eccleston fan as well, but I enjoy Tennant when he's not being Tinkerbell Jesus.

As for season 4, I'm just heartened that Donna has made it clear that there will be no mating. I'm sick of companions mooning over the Doctor. And it's also nice to see a companion who's both older and not skinny.

Torchwood...*mrmph* Not looking forward to another season at this rate.

Yeah, it is good to have a companion that gets away from the whole love thing, requited or otherwise, and I have no problems with Donna conceptually. Catherine Tate does tend to annoy me though, but perhaps that will wear off. I will save any real judgement for future episodes anyway.

I've only just started watching Torchwood S2, so I'll keep your comment in mind as I approach the end ;)

I tried watching the Catherine Tate show, and it did nothing for me, so yeah, I totally understand that. But I do like what I've seen of Donna, so I'm guardedly content at this point.

As for Torchwood, it's got some really good episodes this season (I even tossed a Nebula rec at one), and some real stinkers. The finale was an annoying combo of both. But you'll see.

Yeah, Laura seems like quite a likely candidate. I wonder if it'll be someone more surprising, but can't imagine anyone that would provide so much drama (as I think Adama can be safely ruled out of the list of candidates)
